KATHRYN CONVERS, MD

Board Certified Allergist / Immunologist | Lakeland, FL
 Dr. Convers is board certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology, as well as by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Pediatrics. She completed undergraduate studies in 2001 at the University of Miami, and earned her medical degree in 2005 from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, in Poznan, Poland. From there, she completed a Combined Internal medicine & Pediatrics residency, followed by fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology, all at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After completing fellowship, she joined the faculty at Saint Louis University as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy & Immunology at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in Saint Louis, MO, until her family relocated to Florida, by way of Virginia for 1 year while her husband completed his medical training.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters and husband, enjoys exercise, and is an accomplished pianist.

ROBERT SALZMAN, NP

Board Certified Family Medicine | Lakeland, FL
 Robert Salzman is a board-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in Family Medicine. Initially, he attended University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While providing care in the acute care setting at the local hospital, Robert continued his education at USF and earned a Master of Science in Nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As he was completing graduate studies at USF, Robert began clinical medical training in Allergy and Immunology, working under multiple providers seeing adult and pediatric patients. 

Robert is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. During his undergraduate studies he spent time volunteering in education and during his graduate program volunteered at Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine, providing high-quality medical care to an underserved population of Polk County. 

Robert grew up in Lakeland, having moved here as a child with his family. He enjoys spending time in nature, visiting local parks, golfing, traveling, and experiencing new cultures. Most of all he enjoys spending time with his family including his wife and son.
